The Faculty of Biological Sciences currently provides the following general space for comfort breaks for staff and postgraduate students. The rooms have kitchen facilities including fridges and microwaves and a boiler for hot water.

Other kitchen facilities are available in some more restricted foyer and lobby areas:

All these areas are self-service and staff and students are expected to keep all of the facilities in a clean and tidy condition ensuring that their unused food and drink is removed on a regular basis.
In addition there are a number of general serviced cafes provided by The University of Leeds for all staff and students at various locations around the campus. See the Great Food at Leeds website for more details.
