Introduction

The Denecke group is actively involved in training activities outside the basic scope of University undergraduate and graduate courses. Having several international collaborations, the group regularly hosts visitors, who come to learn new techniques, carry out specific experiments depending on specialist infrastructure of the lab, and who enrich the research environment. Project students and PhD students benefit from these interactions as they often give rise to new job opportunities and broaden the perspectives of a young researcher. The team runs a specific training scheme for first or second year undergraduate students, regularly hosts summer students, and runs international workshops.
