Lab news 2010.
February 2010. Bekky Surtees was awarded the BBSRC/HPA CASE DTG studentship on virus proteomics.
March 2010. Diane and Ed submitted some of their proteomics work to Molecular and Cellular Proteomics and Proteomics.
March 2010. Diane, Ed, and Julian gave talks and Weining and Kyle presented posters at the SGM.
April 2010. Diane got married and seems to have been on honeymoon for most of this year!
May 2010. Ed's paper on the cellular proteome during IBV infection got accepted for publication in Molecular and Cellular Proteomics. Click here to access the paper.
May 2010. Stephen Carter's paper on the SH protein of RSV got accepted into FEBS Letters. Click here to access the paper.
May 2010. Diane is still on honeymoon.
May 2010. Steffi's review on the coronavirus and arterivirus N protein has been submitted to the Journal of General Virology.
June 2010. Becky graduated with a 1st and joined the lab as a PhD student on a BBSRC/HPA CASE studentship.
The Summer 2010. Ed and Diane got all of their papers accepted. We love publication page charges, donations payable to 'C.A.S.H'.
December 2010. Julian and Diane went to an HRSV meeting in Holland and nearly got snowed in and told off on a quiet coach for talking.
Lab news 2011.
January 2011. Most of the lab appear to have respiratory infections.
April 2011. Diane and Becky gave some excellent talks at the SGM.
July 2011. Julian went to China to visit Prof. Hongying Chen and Northwest A&F University and to set up collaborations.
August 2011. Weining's paper on HRSV and the cell cycle got accepted in the Journal of Virology.
September 2011. Congratulations to Dr Ed, who successfully defended his PhD and is now working with Dr. Ian Goodfellow at Imperial College London.
