The Times and Sunday Times has placed the University of Leeds 3rd for Sports Science in their Good University Guide 2018.
Leaping up 10 places from 13th to 3rd, Sport Science at Leeds is now considered one of the best in the UK.
The ranking judges universities on a range of metrics, including teaching quality, student experience, research and graduate destinations.
Sport Science has gone up across all areas, particularly in teaching quality and graduate destinations. This reflects both the recent award of Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) and our ongoing efforts in the Faculty of Biological Sciences to support and strengthen students' employability.
The University of Leeds overall has achieved its highest-ever ranking in the Good University Guide, reaching top 10 in the UK. This ranking is boosted by improvements in graduate prospects and an increased spend on academic services and facilities.
Leeds was also well positioned amongst the Russell Group universities in the latest National Student Survey 2017, receiving joint first for overall satisfaction and for teaching.
