State-of-the-art new labs for 2012

State-of-the-art new labs for 2012
Work is currently underway on brand new teaching laboratories for undergraduate students

Work is currently underway on the new state-of-the-art teaching laboratories in the LC Miall building after a £2.25 million investment.

The new labs will cover around 2000m² and accommodate over 200 undergraduate students in a contemporary and inspiring learning environment.

This new lab space will bring together some of the key facilities in the Faculty including new physiology and biomechanics labs, as well as the latest laboratory equipment.

As well as practical sessions in our modern undergraduate teaching laboratories, many of our students also have the opportunity to work in research labs through research projects, research placements and summer studentships.
