Information for visiting scientists and collaborators

GGEPL is intended a research resource for Galapagos and we are happy to offer use of the lab facilities to visiting scientists. Use of the lab can be organised with the principal investigators (Virna Cedeno and Simon Goodman) for individual projects, which may include a contribution to bench fee's or other costs, depending on the length of project and which of the lab's facilities are used during the work.

The air-conditioned labs have plenty of general bench space, plus facilities for molecular biology, histology, haematology, serology. This includes the ability to handle sensitive biological material in laminar flow/biosafety cabinets, and for cryostorage in liquid N2 and our -80 freezer.
