A VisualSonics Vevo 2100 Ultrasound imaging system is currently housed within the CBS facility. This is a high frequency, high resolution imaging system with a wide range of applications including cardiac and vascular imaging, abdominal imaging, embryology, tumour imaging and contrast imaging. The system is equipped with mouse and rat platforms and MS250 (13-24 MHz) and MS550S (32-56 MHz) solid state transducers.
