An idea could arise in a variety of ways; You may have decided you have some expertise you would like to try and apply but are unaware if there is an opportuntiy or market for this. You may have been approached to act as an expert witness, consultant or provide training to schools. Or you may believe that you have something that could be developed into a more concrete proposal for a Patent or a Spin Out company.
Often when people have an idea they need to get reassurance and advice about their thinking and next steps without working it up into a formal proposal. This area provides the ability to have your ideas discussed in broad terms, in confidence and informally by one or a number of academics from the EKT committee. This team of people has many years experience in all the areas covered here & provide a local community
