Graduate Profiles
Katy Moreland: BSc Neuroscience (2007)
MSc Physiotherapy student

"Since I completed my BSc in Neuroscience I have continued with my studies and am now doing an MSc in Physiotherapy. I hope to specialise in Neurological Rehabilitation following Traumatic Brain Injury. My degree gave me a solid grounding in biomedical science, focused specifically around neurology, and sculpted my research and scientific writing skills. The faculty has brilliant resources, and is geared to provide students with an excellent supportive learning environment to reach their potential. Their are countless opportunities to stretch yourself, and all of the staff are always keen to get more involved and share their knowledge and skills.
Being a student at the University of Leeds was the best time of my life, without question. Alongside the excellent academic facilities, Leeds University Union is the best students union I have come across with something for everyone! Leeds is a brilliant place to be a student in socially, there is always something to do to suit all tastes. The city has so much to offer culturally, and its not a bad night out either!"
