Results 2012
Once you have your results... what are the next steps?
If we have accepted you on UCAS Track there is no need to call us, information will be sent to you in the mail and you will become an unconditional offer holder. If Leeds is your CF choice, you can also check if you’ve been placed here from 8am on Thursday 16th August and entering your personal ID.
Exam remarks
If you have applied for a remark please let us know by contacting fbsadmissions@leeds.ac.uk stating your name, personal ID and details of the course.
If after the remark you meet the terms of your offer you must notify us by e-mail by 4pm on Friday 31st August. You will need to include documentary evidence of your new grade. If you have met the terms of your offer by this date we will honour your place.
We regret that we are not able to offer any places to applicants who confirm their remark result after this deadline.
Exam re-sits
We do not discriminate against candidates who re-sit exams to improve performance. If you are intending to re-sit you can apply through UCAS in the normal way for entry in 2013. Please check our website before submitting your application as our entry requirements may be different if you previously applied for 2012 entry. There is more information about the government changes to tuition fees in 2012 online. You can also view the university website for information on fees and living costs at Leeds.
What to do if... you are an unconditional offer holder
Once your offer has been made unconditional, we will write to you from the Faculty of Biological Sciences letting you know about the induction that we have ready for you – there is a guide available on our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) which you will have access to from the beginning of September. Through the VLE you can chat with other new students joining us in September, ask staff for advice, brush up on your study skills, purchase your e-voting handset, download your new timetable, use the campus map to find out where your lectures will take place, and much more.

What about accommodation?
If you were holding a firm or insurance offer with us you should have already applied for accommodation. Once your offer has been made unconditional, the accommodation office will contact you. If you didn’t apply for accommodation even though you were an offer holder, you will need to contact the accommodation office.
